How Does a Telephone Seminar Work?
Share |

A telephone seminar is an interactive distance education tool that will allow you to listen and participate in a live presentation from the comfort of your own office or home; all you need is your touch-tone phone.

Materials (provided electronically) and instructions for joining the phone CLE will be emailed the day before the seminar. A current email address is required in order to participate.

CLE Credit Information

KBA telephone seminars are provided from noon to 1 p.m. and have either applied for or have already received approval for 1.0 hour of Kansas and Missouri continuing education credit.

To check for a program’s current credit status, please visit our website at or the Kansas CLE Commission website at

To obtain CLE credit, each attendee must complete a registration form and use an individualized pin number to gain access to the call the day of the seminar. These pin numbers will be identified in your registration confirmation notice. The Kansas CLE Commission also requires each attendee to answer a question posed by the presenter during the seminar using a touch-tone phone.

Please note that the Kansas CLE Commission allows only 5.0 hours of nontraditional programming credit (which includes telephone, Web and On Demand CLEs) to count toward your annual requirements.

If you have any questions regarding these telephone seminars or any other CLE programs, please contact Law Practice Services at (785) 234-5696.
