Principal responsibility: Assist Executive and Associate Executive Directors in supporting the Board of Governors, the Board of Trustees, and all Association and Foundation committees; and in Association/Foundation administrative functions.

General duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the Board of Governors and Board of Trustees, with special emphasis on support for the Executive Committees of the boards
  • Provide administrative support to Association and Foundation standing committees
  • Provide administrative support to ad hoc committees as directed by Association or Foundation leadership or the Executive Director
  • Maintain updated records of officers, local bar associations, leadership guide documents and special groups and provide this information annually in the guides, on-line, and as requested
  • Work with Member and Market Services to provide all member information as requested for Kansas Legal Directories blue book
  • Assist in responding to requests for information and assistance from the public, membership, and volunteer leadership and in maintaining good communications with these groups
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and executive staff
  • Provide clerical oversight and support for the administrative functions of the Association and Foundation including official recordkeeping, correspondence (e.g. with other bars, members, congratulations, condolences, etc.), and visitor services support
  • Provide planning and administrative support for the annual meetings of the Association and Foundation
