Memmer is currently working for the Kansas Supreme Court as the Assistant General Counsel to the Chief Justice. She primarily supervises the petition for review process for the Court, as well as assists the Court in various other legal research and administrative tasks. Memmer is a graduate from Washburn Law School and also received her Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from Washburn University. Before serving the Court, she worked for the United States Department of Justice – Civil Rights Division, the Kansas Court of Appeals, and the District Attorney's Office for the Third Judicial District. Memmer also serves as an adjunct professor for the Criminal Justice Department at Washburn University.
