Amy E. Morgan is a member of the Littler CaseSmart® Class Action team and is based in Kansas. She is responsible for early case evaluation (ECE). At the outset of each employment litigation matter, she identifies and reviews pertinent documents, interviews relevant witnesses, and drafts an ECE report for clients’ cases. In keeping with each client’s litigation philosophy, she partners with the local Littler litigation team and assists in developing and executing strategies for effectively handling litigation.

Amy has broad experience in civil litigation, including working with numerous trial teams in state and federal court. Prior to joining Littler, Amy practiced commercial litigation at a national law firm, where she represented businesses in a wide variety of cases, including those involving:

Contract disputes
Breach of fiduciary duty
Noncompetition agreements
Trade secrets and intellectual property
Other employment disputes
Class actions
Amy served under appointment by the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas on the 11-person merit selection panel to recommend nominees for the U.S. Magistrate Judge vacancy from December 2014 to March 2015. She was a delegate to the 2005 Trial Academy of International Association of Defense Counsel at Stanford University and to the 2000 Trial Academy of Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers in Columbia, Missouri.

During law school, Amy was a staff member and articles editor of the Kansas Journal of Law & Public Policy, where she was the recipient of the 1998 Outstanding Contribution Award. Additionally, she was a member of the National Moot Court Competition Team.
