In his litigation practice, Scott has represented clients in a wide range of matters related to construction defects, foreclosures, and loan defaults. He also has significant experience representing creditors in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy matters, and Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees.
A member of the Wichita, Kansas and American Bar associations, Scott has served as the Young Lawyer’s President of both the Wichita and Kansas Bar associations, and the Kansas and Missouri Young Lawyer’s Division District Representative to the American Bar Association. He served as the Wichita Bar Association’s Technology Committee Chair and has spoken at Continuing Legal Education events about technology as it applies to the legal industry. In 2008, he was named an “Outstanding Young Lawyer” by the Kansas Bar Association. Scott joined Hite, Fanning & Honeyman, L.L.P. in 2003.
Scott is an avid runner, having completed more than 100 marathon or longer running events, including eight 100-mile ultramarathon single day runs.
