Sara Rust-Martin is the Legal and Policy Director at the Kansas Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence. She is a graduate of Washburn University School of Law, the University of Kansas where she obtained a Masters in Social Welfare, and Pittsburg State University where she earned a Bachelor in Science degree majoring in social work. From 1995-2001, while earning her social work degrees, Sara worked in community mental health. In 2001, Sara joined the United States Peace Corps serving in Jamaica. Upon returning to the States, Sara directed a Substance Abuse Treatment Center in an urban setting before attending law school. After graduating from law school, Sara joined the Kansas Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence serving a long and successful career of nearly 10 years as the Legal and Policy Director. Sara left that position for a short time and enjoyed working as the Law Practice Management Attorney at the Kansas Bar Association. In addition to her law practice work, Sara is also an adjunct instructor at the University of Kansas in the School of Social Welfare where she focuses on issues of ethics and policy.
Jonathan Booze is a co-founder of ONE Advisory Partners, LLC, a registered investment advisor with over $200 million under management. His background includes over 20 years of experience in the financial and legal fields, including advising high net worth private practice attorneys and in-house counsel on personal wealth management and assisting law firms and other 401(k) plan sponsors with fiduciary and plan design issues. Prior to co-founding ONE’s predecessor firm in 2003, Jon worked with the Employee Benefit and Executive Compensation Group of Blackwell Sanders Peper Martin (now Husch Blackwell). Jon is a member of both the Missouri and Kansas bars and a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner. In addition to his legal and financial training, has received the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation, which means he has received formalized training in prudent fiduciary processes for retirement plans through FI360.
