Cindy Diederich Named Manager of Member Services of the KBA
(August 29, 2005) Topeka, KSCindy Diederich, Wamego, has been appointed manager of member services of the Kansas Bar Association. Diederich was formerly employed with Big Lakes Developmental Center Inc., Manhattan, where she was director of CDDO Administration.
"Cindy brings extensive nonprofit experience to the KBA," Executive Director Jeffrey Alderman said. "Her background, education, and expertise will be beneficial to the association's missions and goals, and I am confident that she'll enhance our member services efforts."
After graduating from Kansas State University in 1995 with a B.S. in psychology, Diederich joined Big Lakes, a Community Developmental Disability Organization, as a personal and social skills trainer. During her tenure at Big Lakes, she was promoted several times, including to employment training specialist (1996-1998), case manager (1998-2001), CDDO Admissions Director (2001-2004), and Director of CDDO Administration (2004-present).
"I'm extremely pleased to be joining the Kansas Bar Association," said Diederich. "I am looking forward to working with the KBA officers, board of governors, and members of the association, which has a long tradition of effectively representing the state's legal professionals."
