Kathy Slawson named Kansas Bar Association meeting planner

Slawson, Topeka, has been appointed meeting planner for
Kansas Bar Association. Slawson was formerly employed as
director of family ministries with St. David's Episcopal
Church, Topeka.
"We
were fortunate to find someone with the experience and skills
so closely matching our needs," Interim Executive Director
and Continuing Legal Education Director Eric Ward said.
"I am delighted to have Kathy join our staff."
Prior
to working for St. David's, Slawson was youth minister/co-director
of the youth program with Grace Episcopal Cathedral, Topeka
(2201-2003), and administrative assistant with the Kansas
Public Health Association, Topeka (1998-2002). She also
served in various positions with the Kansas Department of
Health & Environment (1988-1995).
"I
have a passion for associations and enjoy the variety of
challenges offered me by this position," Slawson said.
