Kuckelman Elected District Two Representative of Kansas Bar Association

(June 13, 2003) Topeka, KS—Gerald R. Kuckelman, Atchison, was elected to serve as the District Two Representative of the Kansas Bar Association (KBA) Board of Governors by the association's membership for 2003-2004.

Kuckelman graduated from Washburn University with a B.A. in 1981 and a J.D. in 1985. He is a general practice attorney and a partner in the firm of Garrity & Kuckelman in Atchison and is also the County Attorney for Atchison. He serves as the chairman of the Kansas Real Estate Commission, having been appointed to the commission in 1996 by Gov. Bill Graves.

Kuckelman has been a member of the KBA since 1985 and is currently a member of the organization's Bench and Bar Committee. He is chairman of the Advisory Committee for Atchison County Community Corrections, a member of the multi-discipline committee for abused children in Atchison County, and formerly served on the board for Legal Aid for northeast Kansas.
