(June 5, 2003) Topeka, KSThe Kansas Bar Association (KBA) is assisting the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) by coordinating legal services for people affected by the tornado or storm damage that occurred across the state last month.
Anyone with legal problems resulting from these storms may call 1-888-234-5695 and the Kansas Bar Association will refer them to an attorney who can provide assistance.
Storm victims needing legal assistance may call the toll-free phone number from
8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
