Section Membership Categories

For payment of an extra dues amount in addition to regular KBA membership dues, KBA members may join any of 22 other Sections to obtain in-depth information in a specialty area of the law. Sections evaluate and discuss trends in their area and make appropriate recommendations to the Board regarding legislation, CLEs, or other needed action. Each Section offers its members targeted newsletters, an annual directory of its members by request, and Continuing Legal Education programs.

KBA members to age 36, or who have been admitted to the bar within the past five years are eligible to join the KBA Young Lawyers Section.
