Site Byte: 2013-14 KBA Leadership Guide

Each year the KBA/KBF publishes an interactive guide for bar association and foundation leaders – the officers and members of the boards of trustees and governors, section officers, and committee chairs. This guide contains information about the history, bylaws, policies, and operation of the foundation and association, as well as rosters for boards and committees at work for the year, and contact information for local and specialty bars throughout the state. The guide is now available online to all members of the KBA at http://www.ksbar.org/?page=aboutus.

LOMAP Tip of the Week

LOMAP Tip of the Week: Your Monthly App Review for the Mobile Lawyer

Do you travel a lot? Do you hate trying to locate the paper confirmation for your flight or hotel in your bag as your standing at the counter? Or are you the one that hates thumbing through your email to locate the confirmation? Whether you travel for work or for your own personal vacation, TripIt may be the app for you. This app allows you to have access to all your travel information right on your mobile device. Just forward your confirmation emails to TripIt at plans@tripit.com and TripIt will instantly create an itinerary for you. Your flight information, hotel, and rental car reservations are all in one accessible spot. You can customize the itinerary with maps and directions, and you can also share your itinerary with someone via email. I recently used the app on a trip and found that it is easy to use and convenient. This app is available for free on iPad, iPhone, Android, Blackberry, and Window Phone 7.
