If you have been having some problems updating your profile, here are some simple steps to help you change your password, update your personal/professional information, and upload a profile photo.
There are three ways to get to your profile to update your profile.
Once there, under Information & Settings, click Edit Bio to begin the process of changing your user information.
Under Edit Bio, the user has many options to personalize their profile, including changing their username, email, and password; updating their personal and professional information; and adding additional information, such as education and social/volunteer organizations.
Users may change their password at any time by logging into their account and clicking Edit Bio. From there, it's a simple process of entering a new password. (Note: Your password must be a minimum of eight characters in length and contain at least one number and one non-numeric character.)
Users may enter both personal and professional information in their profile. As a default, all information is visible to everyone; however, user may change what the public sees. By clicking on the "green padlock" next to each field, the user may make that information public (visible to everyone), members only (visible only to members), or private (not visible in profile).
Adding a Photo to Your Profile
It's simple to add a photo to your profile page. Click My Profile to go to your profile.
Hover over the "Photo Not Available" image and the Add Photo button will appear. Click Add Photo button to begin the process of adding a photo to your profile. (Note: Photos must be an RGB image in a GIF, JPEG, or PNG format.)
