How to Check Out Materials

Checking out materials is as easy as a phone call, email, or a request can be made online. You can contact Sara Rust-Martin, sections & law practice management attorney, at (785) 234-5696 or and she will send the materials in the mail.

If there is an item currently checked out, you may be put on a waiting list and we will contact you when the item is ready for check out, once returned to the lending library.

LOMAP Lending Library Request Procedures

Are you interested in checking out one of the books in the LOMAP Library? If you are interested in a book, please call Sara Rust-Martin, Law Practice Management Attorney, at (785) 861-8821.

You may check-out the book for 30 days. The book will be mailed to you at no cost or, if you live in the Topeka area, you may come and pick it up at the Law Center. It is your responsibility to incur the cost for returning the book and ensuring it is returned on time. A letter will accompany the book when it is mailed that will indicate the date it is due back to the LOMAP Library.

Are you interested in a book title we don't currently have in the LOMAP Library? If so, contact Sara Rust-Martin to discuss the title and scope of the book and, if there is enough member interest, we will consider purchasing it.

Checkout Policy

  • No more than two items may be checked out at a time.
  • All materials that are checked out may be kept for 30 days.
  • Checked out materials maybe renewed for an additional two weeks unless there is a waiting list for the material.
  • Users take responsibility for all materials checked out from the LOMAP Lending Library and explicitly agree to replace materials which are damaged or lost.
