Heartbleed bug, what is it? It is an encryption flaw that has affected many popular websites and services, according to Mashable.com. This includes sites, such as Google, Gmail, Facebook, Amazon, Yahoo, and many, many more. What can you do? Change your passwords. Check this regularly updated list to make sure you know what sites are affected, http://mashable.com/2014/04/09/heartbleed-bug-websites-affected/.

 

The KBA website has not been affected by the Heartbleed bug. This situation is a good reminder to change your passwords often and to not use the same password for each account. There are wonderful password management systems like 1Password (https://agilebits.com/onepassword) and Last Pass (https://lastpass.com/), which will generate passwords for you, with you only having to remember one password.
