"Attorneys have a moral and ethical duty to make legal services available
to the public at affordable prices. In furtherance of this commitment,
the services of paralegals are being utilized by attorneys. Except where
prohibited by law or the Rules Relating to Discipline of Attorneys
adopted by the Supreme Court of the State of Kansas, which supersede and
govern these guidelines, an attorney may utilize the services of a
paralegal to assist in the representation of a client as set forth in
