Kathryn Gardner will be sworn in as the 14th Kansas Court of Appeals judge at a 2 p.m. ceremony on Friday, May 8 in the Supreme Court courtroom of the Kansas Judicial Center in Topeka. She was appointed to the bench on January 29 by Gov. Sam Brownback and then confirmed by the Kansas Senate on March 11.
Gardner currently serves as a law clerk to U.S. District Senior Judge Sam Crow. She replaces Caleb Stegall who now serves on the Kansas Supreme Court.
