The Office of the Disciplinary Administrator is looking to fill two positions: Deputy Disciplinary Administrator and Staff Attorney. Both positions are located in Topeka and begin October 2013 (start date negotiable).
Deputy Disciplinary Administrator
Job Duties: Oversees investigations of complaints of attorney misconduct. Prepares and presents cases before the Kansas Board for Discipline of Attorneys and the Kansas Supreme Court. Work is performed under the supervision of the Disciplinary Administrator. Serves at the will and pleasure of the Disciplinary Administrator.

Job Duties: This is highly sensitive professional legal work, assisting in investigations and prosecutions of attorney admissions and attorney misconduct cases before the Kansas Board of Law Examiners and the Kansas Board for Discipline of Attorneys. Reviews, studies, researches, and annotates laws, court opinions, and related legal authorities. Assists investigators in conducting investigations. Responsible for tracking approximately 250 open investigations. Assists in preparing cases for hearing. Work is performed under the supervision of the Disciplinary Administrator. Serves at the will and pleasure of the Disciplinary Administrator.
