The Service Member Civil Relief Act continuances, the unique requirements of K.S.A. 60-1625 concerning child custody, parenting time, and related orders.  It will also cover the impact of the Lautenberg amendment, which deals with the possession of firearms and military duty after certain convictions

Jason Oldham, Appellate Clerk, Kansas Judicial Branch

Jason Oldham graduated from Washburn Law School in 1993. He was in private practice with Jan Leuenberger until 1995 when he began working for the Supreme Court of Kansas. Mr. Oldham began working in his current position as the Chief Deputy Clerk in the Clerk of the Appellate Courts office in 1999.
