 Cyber security should be a real concern for you and your clients. We hear about new breaches in the news daily, but yet, we all think “This won’t happen to me because I am not a big corporation.”  The truth is that law firms are just as much of a target as any other business.  This session will cover the different types of  data breaches, your duty to safeguard your client’s information, as well as dive into the nuts and bolts of how to deal with a data breach

Danielle M. Hall, Director of Law Practice Services, Kansas Bar Association, Topeka

Ms. Hall is the Law Practice Services Director for the Kansas Bar Association where she provides KBA members with an array of information and services to assist in practice management and career development. Hall received a B.A. degree in Political Science in 2006 and a J.D. in 2009 all from Washburn University. Prior to joining the KBA she practiced for a small firm focusing on civil litigation. In addition, she is also an adjunct professor at Washburn, teaching trial advocacy and coaching the advocacy competition teams.
