Financial Hardship Policy
Share |

The Kansas Bar Association is committed to providing service to its members and the bar-at-large. We also remain mindful of the economic crisis that we all face.

As such, the KBA Board of Governors has approved a financial hardship policy that allows the Bar the discretion to waive annual membership dues and/or extend a full or partial waiver of CLE fees, depending on the circumstances.

Under this policy, any member, former member, or non-member who has a genuine financial hardship may apply, in writing, explaining the basis of his or her hardship. Please specify if you are asking for an annual membership dues waiver and/or a CLE waiver.

Requests should be sent directly to the KBA Member & Market Services Director, Meg Wickham, at mwickham@ksbar.org or mailed to her attention at 1200 SW Harrison St., Topeka, KS 66612.

CLE requests should be sent directly to the KBA Law Practices Services Director, Danielle Hall, at dhall@ksbar.org or mailed to her attention at 1200 SW Harrison St., Topeka, KS 66612. Requests for specific CLE programs must be received at least 14 days before the seminar. No phone calls, please.

Requests can be made as necessary.
