|IOLTA Grant Application Process|
It is now past the application deadline. We are no longer accepting IOLTA grant applications for 2014.
"There are more children to serve, and CASA is poised to meet this need by providing volunteers who will be the voices for these children. Our ability to achieve this growth, however, is dependent on our ability to increase the number of trained volunteers in our state and provide the proper amount of supervision of these volunteers. IOLTA funds provide local programs additional resources to maintain staff positions that recruit, screen, train, and supervise CASA volunteers so that they may serve child in need of care cases. ”

Review and Selection Process
All grant applications are reviewed by the Foundation’s IOLTA Committee, which is made up of appointees from the Foundation, the Kansas Bar Association, the Kansas Supreme Court, the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, the Kansas Association of Defense Counsel, the Governor’s Office, and the Kansas Bankers Association. The IOLTA Committee forwards its recommendations to the Foundation’s Board of Trustees for final approval. You will be notified by mail and phone if you are selected as a 2014 IOLTA grant recipient.
