Membership to the Kansas Bar Association is separate and distinct from becoming a licensed attorney in Kansas. Kansas law  students may join the KBA prior to passing the state bar exam as a student member.

If you are a Kansas law school student in good standing, your membership in the KBA is now free! Please fill out the following membership form completely so you can begin receiving your membership benefits, including a subscription to the Journal of the Kansas Bar Association. Please ensure that you provide us with the mailing address where you would like your membership card, issues of the Journal, and other information sent.

You will also receive a complimentary student membership in the KBA Young Lawyers Section (YLS). The YLS is a great avenue for law students and new attorneys and provides numerous networking opportunities.
